The first "Wednesday in the garden" of 2013 on my blog - unfortunately the weather isn't great. And because it's been far to cold for at least five months now (according to the papers), the garden en I are way behind this year.
But the last two days were better and so I've been outside a little longer. And there I saw a whole family of Hungry Caterpillars working it's way through my hedge. As I was just about to google on "bird-friendly-caterpillar-get-lost-stuff" I found this little friend. Stuck underneath the leaf as a little, neon green Hema-sausage. And he ate a cute heart out of the leaf as well.
So for now, he and his family can stay... as long as they keep to the one shrub that is!
"Wednesdays in the garden" is officially started by Alicia Bock.
